From Quantum Inspiration to Reality: The BO! RACING Story

What do you consider REV'IT!'s most iconic design? Many would point to the Sand Adventure Jacket, now in its 5th generation. However, when looking specifically at REV'IT! leather suits, the first Quantum generation clearly stands out. This design represents one of the most innovative and inspiring concepts ever created for racing suits. This pioneering work has influenced several TAILORTECH creations.

The BO! RACING team visited the TAILORTECH showroom with a clear vision: to commission three uniquely customized racing suits unlike anything else on the market.

It's truly impressive when clients travel internationally to our showroom for professional measurements by our specialized technicians. These clients work directly with our design team to collaboratively create their ideal racing suit design.

For this project, we used an X_201 suit as our technical foundation and enhanced it with a full kangaroo leather upgrade.

With the full kangaroo leather upgrade, this suit becomes comparable to a MotoGP custom-made product. The pattern designs, protective elements, and airbag integration aren't just similar to MotoGP standards—they're identical.

Our design team showed equal dedication to this project, transforming the team's concept into three distinct designs. Each features custom-made patterns on the sleeves and legs, along with personalized mascots on the hump and name patches.

These specialized requests give our design team valuable opportunities to showcase their expertise and add significant value through customized proportions and distinctive line work.

The product creation process is equally meticulous. It starts with pattern development and moves to the actual design implementation at a 1:1 scale on individual components. Custom suit designs follow this precise methodology. Our pattern team first works on each of the 180 pieces that make up an X_201 suit. Then the graphics team applies detailed design elements to these components.

Developing the pattern for a custom-made suit comes from deep experience—it's an advanced manual process powered by CAD software but still done much like traditional paper methods. We don't oversimplify to speed up production. Every piece of a custom-made suit is crafted by a specialized pattern maker, with every line, measurement, and component thoughtfully designed and repeatedly checked. This matters because it's the only way to deliver a truly made-to- measure fit, not just an adapted one. And when we're talking about 180 pieces, it's truly massive work.

Developing such extensive artwork on these patterns requires highly specialized skills. After pattern creation, the suit resembles a blank white canvas. On this canvas, we design all the graphic elements derived from the initial concept, bringing them into reality.
